Storage Instructions

India’s ice cream market is one of the largest in the world. It is also one of the most misleading.
Walk into any supermarket freezer aisle and pick up the most popular brand. Flip it over. The odds are high that the label reads “Frozen Dessert” – a legal category that permits manufacturers to replace dairy cream with cheaper hydrogenated vegetable oil. The product looks identical. The packaging is just as colourful. But the dairy is gone.
At VeydaPure, we refused to participate in that trade-off. Not because it was a good marketing decision, though it is, but because it was simply the wrong thing to do.

Step 1 — The Cream Standard: Every VeydaPure ice cream begins with fresh full-cream milk and fresh dairy cream sourced from our partner farms. The fat content of our cream base meets and exceeds the FSSAI standard for legal classification as genuine Ice Cream, not a frozen dessert. We do not use a single gram of vegetable fat as a substitute.
Step 2 — Natural Flavour Sourcing: Our flavour philosophy is straightforward: if the flavour exists in nature, we source it from nature. Alphonso mango pulp comes from Ratnagiri during the season. Pistachios are hand-selected and crushed in-house. Saffron is sourced from Kashmir. Belgian chocolate is couverture grade. If a natural source is not available at the quality we demand, we do not launch that flavour. Simple.
Step 3 — The Slow-Churn Method: VeydaPure ice cream is churned at precisely controlled temperatures using a process that prioritises texture over speed. Lower churning speed means less air incorporated, a lower overrun, which produces a denser, richer, slower-melting scoop. This is the standard in artisan gelato and premium ice cream globally. It is more expensive and time-consuming. We do it anyway.
Step 4 — No Artificial Stabiliser Philosophy: Most commercial ice creams use a cocktail of artificial stabilisers and emulsifiers to maintain texture across large temperature variations during transport and retail storage. VeydaPure uses a minimal, clean stabiliser system, relying instead on the natural binding properties of real milk solids and cream fat to hold the texture together. The result is ice cream that behaves beautifully in your bowl and, honestly, in your body.
Step 5 — Blast Freezing & Cold-Chain Integrity: Immediately after churning and flavour incorporation, every batch is blast-frozen to -35°C to lock in the texture and prevent ice crystal formation. From that moment, VeydaPure ice cream never breaks the cold chain, transported in temperature-controlled vehicles, stored in certified freezers, and delivered to your door in insulated packaging that maintains temperature for up to 4 hours.
